Project Feature: Sree Vyah (sun snare)

In 2018, Solvest spearheaded the design and construction of Old Crow’s first utility-scale solar array, seamlessly integrated into a diesel solar microgrid. Fully operational by early 2021, this award-winning project annually displaces 195,000 liters of diesel.  

Community involvement was prioritized, with over 50% of the workforce from Old Crow during construction. This project represents a significant milestone in sustainable energy and has introduced a new level of tranquility to the community—marking their first experience of complete silence without the constant hum of generators.
