Solvest partnered with Buffalo River Professional Services, representing the Buffalo River Dene Nation, to supply a solar pilot project at NexGen’s Rook 1 camp. Situated in northwestern Saskatchewan with no grid connection, Rook 1 is anticipated to contribute 20% of the global uranium supply and is the first uranium project to receive provincial approval in over 20 years. The camp is currently trucking in diesel for its power supply.
