Project Feature: Curling Club

Whitehorse’s curling club operates as a non-profit enterprise. The organization incurs sizable electricity costs from creating and maintaining a large ice rink. Solvest designed a system that would significantly reduce the facility’s energy requirements from the grid and instead from their independent renewable energy system. The design was comprised of 200 modules totaling 74kW. With territorial rebates, this system has a payback period of under two years.

  • Location: Whitehorse, Yukon
